Welcome to the Perry Removals of Bishops Stortford website. This website has been designed to help you through the process of moving home with information not only on the removal itself but on other pre and post removal day issues.
Perry Removals local town Bishops Stortford with a population of around 35,000 was voted seventh best place to live in the UK by a Channel 4 programme. Stortford is unusual in that the river was named after the town rather than the more normal; town named after river. Until the early 1600's the river had no name. In the year 1060, William, Bishop of London bought Stortford Manor Estate for £8, since which It became 'Bishop's Stortford'. The most famous son of Stortford is almost certainly Cecil Rhodes. Rhodes Art Complex is named after in recognition of his pioneering throughout Africa and giving his name to Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe.
Perry Removals have carried out moves in probably every street throughout the town and all of the surrounding villages. Some notable properties include The Monastery, The Causeway offices, Hockerhill School and many of the Country Estates in the area.
